Clinical Psychologist

I specialize in child, adolescent and family therapy. Many of my current clients are on the autism spectrum and/or have a diagnosis of ADHD and other behavioral disorders. I also work with young adults with special needs in transition and at-risk teens. I provide comprehensive psychological/academic evaluation services with the most current version of test instrumentation for children and adolescents. In addition to my individual diagnostic and treatment services I also run a series of social skill groups for children and adolescents and accepting new members.

My current treatment paradigm for working with kids on the autism spectrum is both multi-theoretical and assimilative drawing heavily from floor-time based theory but also incorporating more concrete behavioral interventions depending on client variables. Pre- and post-doctoral training included health psychology, chronic pain management and rural community mental health. I also have formal training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy for children and adolescents. 

I believe in holistic biopsychosocial diagnostic formulation and treatment incorporating spiritual and cultural influences to help individualsand families reach an an optimal level of success and happiness commensurate with their unique abilities.
