Laurie Morano, RYT-200
Laurie has been on her yoga journey since her first Ashtanga class in 1998. Laurie also holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Her challenging work with troubled youth led her to fuse counseling with yoga where she witnessed firsthand the amazing healing power of breath initiated movement. This experience drove Laurie to seek her certification through Yoga Mountain in New City, New York. To her, yoga is a life-long journey of self-discovery and transformation; it is not something that can be “mastered,” as we are all perpetual students. Laurie’s classes are a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa Flow and she believes in the moving and inspirational power of music – integrating fun and funky playlists with her sequences. Laurie focuses on helping students find a sense of balance and personal challenge, no matter what their level. In addition to her own amazing teachers, Laurie has attended trainings and workshops with and has been influenced by Dana Flynn, Kathryn Budig, Simon Park, Gina Caputo, Max Strom, and Judith Lasater, among others.

Her personal yoga practice most closely aligns with Angela Farmer’s yoga, which dialogues with the inner body, and is rooted in the ancient practice of women yogis. Her focus is on feeling the body in an honest way and following its need to move, stretch, bend, and breathe. She enjoys integrating healing waves of movement into yoga asanas and believes in using yoga and pranayama to heal the body and connect with spirit. She believes that just as the lotus flower rises from the sludge at the bottom of the pond, yoga helps us to blossom from our stagnant resistance. Kathryn holds the following certifications:

ACE – Personal Trainer & Facilitated Stretching
AFFA – Group Exercise Instructor
LA Fitness – Mat Pilates I
Jove Watson, RYT-200
As a Wellness Coach (AACC) and Yoga Teacher (500 Registered Viniyoga Teacher, 500 and ERYT 200 Yoga Alliance) Jove’s teaching will bring you in from outer space to your deep inner space. His teaching will provide you with the strength and awareness for personal transformation (Kriyayogah and Isvarakhyata). Jove’s teaching will start with the physical body but is designed for the primary focus to be the mental body, helping you unlock your true potential and purpose (Dharma) in life with joy and bliss (Ananda).
All of his classes are focused around the breath (Pranamaya) and allowing it to be the tour guide of how your body should authentically move and feel, not letting the intellectual mind be the master, allowing for breath centered movement in and out of postures, also called Asana. Each class will contain the use of sound, Pranayama and leave time for meditation, guiding you to move inward and create a deep internal experience and connection. Due to his visual impairment, he experiences the postures (Asana) differently than others and by sharing that experience with his students he creates a light and joyful environment, which allows for a deepening of your practice.
Amanda Webster, RYT-200 &
Certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor
Amanda strongly believes that yoga is for everybody, regardless of health, age, gender, belief system, income, or background. She frequently tells her students, “If you surrender to your practice, it will become more than a workout, it will become a lifestyle, and it will positively impact your life in ways that you cannot even imagine!” She
She LOVES all styles of yoga, and both her personal practice and teaching styles are eclectic. Whether she’s teaching vinyasa, basics, or restorative yoga, she starts from the outside and moves inward; and then encourages her students to access that internalized sense of self and apply it outwardly: Amanda starts with the most outward expression of yoga, asana, and helps student align themselves so they can go beyond the physical body and focus the mind through pranayama. When the body is aligned and the breath is controlled, the energy (prana) within the body is able to flow freely, creating union between all aspects of yourself…physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. She persuades students to listen to that inner wisdom that one accesses in those tranquil moments of introspection, like meditation, and to incorporate that wisdom into one’s actions, choices, habits, and lifestyle.
Through her own experience, Amanda has witnessed the profound sense of joy, freedom, and complete sense of well-being that occurs when you take yoga off the mat and into the rest of your life, and wants to enable anyone who has an interest in yoga to have their own unique “yoga” experience.
